This is a question we get asked frequently, but the truth is its not quite that simple. It’s the equivalent of walking into a car dealership with a wide range of cars and asking how much a new car costs. Every website is different, and prices can start from as low as £5 a week or run into the thousands.
To give an accurate quote, we need to know what kind of website you have in mind, or more importantly, what you need your website to do. Do you intend to sell products/services directly from the site? Or is it more to display what you offer and encourage customers to get in touch. What features will you need and what capabilities will the site require?
Remember that you will also need to acquire a domain (website address) and web hosting (a service that keeps your site online). You may also want to consider branded emails to match your domain name. You may also need someone to manage your website and make regular updates as required. These things are usually not too expensive but they do need to be considered in the total cost.
Be very careful with anyone who offers a set rate for websites. Chances are they have set the price high enough to keep themselves covered, or they will charge you more than the agreed price.
If you are considering a new website, Mid Ulster Marketing are always happy to provide a quote but we will need a quick chat about what it is you are looking for.
